NACYMEL constructions and electromechanical erections is a company founded in Quito - Ecuador on April 24th, 1975. Its main activities were the construction of high, medium and low voltage transmission lines, distribution networks, and power substations.

Since 1984, with the incorporation of colombian shareholders, it decided to work in other construction areas and in electromechanical erections, gaining a great experience in the construction of electric generation plants and industrial plants. NACYMEL is currently a General Contractor Company, with capacity and experience to undertake construction projects that involve all the engineering disciplines.

COINTEC, Comercial Industrial Técnica, was founded in Quito- Ecuador on May 20th, 1963 with the objective to trade and install under the "Turn Key" system electromechanical equipment for the industrial sector. Later, its action field was extended to electric sectors in the areas of generation, transmission and distribution, and also in the petrochemical area.

In 1996 the company control got in charge of a group of Colombian investors, whom, with the objective to optimize its commercial and operative resources decided to create a permanent association with NACYMEL to undertake together in the field of general contracting in Ecuador.
